Human Metabolic Research Unit
Named in honor of two pioneering research faculty in human nutrition of the 1950s and 60s, the HMRU provides specialized research laboratories to support faculty and student research in this area and includes a research kitchen and dining area with associated chemistry, physical performance and body composition laboratories, and accommodations to house subjects for overnight studies.

Costume and Textile Collection
The Cornell Costume and Textile Collection includes more than 9,000 items of apparel dating from the 18th century to the present, as well as a substantial collection of ethnographic textiles and costume.

Designed by CHE students for CHE students, Lounge 159>> was constructed in 2006. The project was designed by Janice Young, Megan Belkin, Julia Park, Roisin Callanan, Sara Patterson, and Tiffany Peterson with faculty oversight provided by Rhonda Gilmore and Jack Elliot.
